Reminder for veteran volunteers to
reapply for each trip

All veteran field team volunteers must apply for
participation on each intended field team, in a
timely manner.  Selection of applicants for a team
is first based on volunteer category and then by
date of application.  The volunteer categories are
selected in the following order: medical
professionals who speak Spanish, medical
professionals who do not speak Spanish,
translators, and lay volunteers.

Disclaimer:

MEDICO does not:

• Assume a volunteer's interest in particapation

on a field team, without a completed application for

that specified field team.

• Select a volunteer to a field team without a

completed application.

• Guarantee a selected volunteer’s friend or family

member a position on a field team.

The team roster is developed only from completed

 and submitted volunteer applications.
